Iron Feather Outfitters
Run by Phoenix Everano.
A licensed Idaho outfitter and guide, hunting the Treasure Valley's stretch of the Pacific Flyway.
Rodeo-bred. Waterfowl-made.
Phoenix Everano has been riding and hunting since he was barely walking. Today he's a PRCA rodeo competitor and a professional hunter, and he guides every Iron Feather hunt himself.
The arena and the marsh ask for the same things: patience, timing, and an honest read on an animal that doesn't care about your plans. A roping horse and a working retriever are both partnerships, and Phoenix has spent his life building them.
When you book a hunt, that's who's standing next to you in the blind.

Where it started
Long before Iron Feather, it was roping arenas and rodeo grounds. The rope and the shotgun have both been part of Phoenix's life from the start.

Your guide
Run by Phoenix Everano
Iron Feather Outfitters is a licensed Idaho outfitter and guide operation run by Phoenix Everano, hunting the Treasure Valley's stretch of the Pacific Flyway — the flooded fields, reservoirs, and river bottoms around Boise, Nampa, and Mountain Home.
Every hunt is scouted ahead of time, not run on autopilot at a fixed spot regardless of where the birds actually are that week. Small groups, real decoy work, and an honest read on what's flying before you book.
Why hunters book with us
- Licensed Idaho outfitter & guide
- Fresh scouting ahead of every hunt
- Private land access already arranged
- Small groups — 4–6 hunters per blind
- Honest species read before you book, not after

Working retrievers in the blind
Every hunt runs with a trained retriever — steady in the blind, reliable on the mark, and part of what makes an Iron Feather hunt feel like the real thing instead of a rushed field day.
